Hello Lovely Readers! We are getting closer and closer to going back to school. I know many of you are shopping for a new wardrobe or trying to restyle some of your wardrobe pieces! I love this outfit because it’s so effortless. I love Chambray, I can wear it all year round! Since many of you start in August, it’s still kind of hot outside. So show off those tan legs with a pair of shorts. On your first day of school, you really don’t do anything besides show up and go over the course syllabus. So I always suggest on the first day of school to take a nice big purse that can fit your laptop/tablet, a pair of writing utensils, and a notebook to jot down some important information. Dream Big and make this school year the best school year!

Hello Lovely Readers! It’s back to school season! I graduated college already and I kinda miss it! LOL. This is the first outfit. This is a great outfit if you are a casual girl like me and love wearing comfy clothes but at the same time want to add some color to your wardrobe. You can never go wrong with your basic jeans and stripe t-shirt. I rarely used a back pack when I was in college. I really like the messenger bags. Don’t forget your pencils and paper to write your notes or send that cute boy a message. Oh wait, you guys just send a text message huh? lol..

I’ve been pinning a lot and catching up on some fashion blog posts and I’ve seen several bloggers wear pattern dresses. I think wearing a pattern dress and using neutral accessories is the best way to dress up. Especially those lazy summer days coming up where you really don’t want to stand in front of your closet asking yourself for the millionth time….I don’t have anything to wear…

I mean you can wear a very simple pattern dress and some strappy sandles with a heel and you are set. Out of all the bloggers, the numero uno for me was Sydney from  The Daybook Check out her post…You’ll know what I’m talking about. I actually have a very nice pattern summer dress from American Eagle that I will be wearing all through out the summer. I just need to buy some cute sandals.

Summer is here and I want to be at the beach building sand castles and checking out those lifeguards 😉 eh eh

I mean everyone does right? lol

But I really can’t wait to go to the beach and feel the warm sand. I still have not gone summer shopping. I was inspired by Ashley Greene’s cute and casual summer outfit ( HERE ) and the beautiful color of the ocean. You can never go wrong with colored shorts. I am really loving the color “mint” paired with gray or white. This is definitely a style that you see in Southern California. I particularly love this outfit as well because I could really see myself wearing this while walking by the pier and eating ice cream. Too perfect!

It’s almost that time of the year. Wearing shorts throughout the summer. I’ve seen a lot of cute shorts that are affordable at Target. Now if you want to go to a thrift store and become a DIY queen go for it. Saving money is always awesome! Above is a great way to pair a plain blouse and a pair of shorts with some accessories. I really like this outfit! I love the color of the shorts as well. You can wear sandals, some white converse or wedges with this outfit. It’s so versatile and comfy. What do you like to wear during the summer or what’s your favorite color to wear during those super hot days?

I really love this outfit. When I saw these shoes at Target I fell in love with them. I love dresses but I really like wearing jeans with wedges. It’s still a casual look but the outfit looks well put together with the wedges. Since this is an outfit that I would wear during the day I would wear a neutral makeup look. Now this is a great outfit to wear during the night as well. Add a darker shade of eyeshadow to your crease and a neutral shade of eyeshadow to your lid and some mascara and eyeliner and your set.

Date Night

Happy Friday Everyone. Hope everyone has an amazing afternoon. It’s a pretty nice day in So Cal. Im in the mood of going out with the honey on a date night. I really like to plan “romantic” date nights with the boy. Especially when I am in the mood of dressing up. It’s nice to feel girly and overall pamper yourself. I try to at least pamper myself once in a full moon if I can. hahaha. I get my nails done. Get a massage or get a new haircut. Even putting on some makeup here and there feels nice. It’s ME time.

How do you pamper yourself? I know there’s a lot of busy moms out there too. Pamper yourselves at least once a year =)
